- Registration fee: $35 ($25 if postmarked by May 21)
- Event fee: $10 per person per dance (excluding professional instructors) Maximum event fee is $50 for 5 or more dances

Dance Levels:
- Bronze
- Silver
- Gold
- Am-Am: Each competitor is an amateur
- Pro-Am: Competitor entering the competition with a professional instructor

Groups:
- Two or more couples dance at the same time in competition with each other in selected dance for one and a half minutes

Solos:
- One couple dances at a time with a routine choreographed to music, which they supply, competing for up to 2 minutes and 45 seconds
